Red Bull driver Mark Webber has admitted that he held talks with Ferrari about a potential move to the team.
Despite widespread reports that the Australian was to sign with the famous red car at the end of the season, he extended his contract with his current employers on Monday.
"There were discussions with Ferrari, but my decision was to stay here," the 35-year-old said.
"I virtually know everyone's shoe size! I know everyone's names, I know how everyone ticks and I know all the departments which is very, very important for a driver. There's a whole raft of factors."
Webber won the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday.
