Sebastian Vettel thanks Red Bull for "incredible" six years

Sebastian Vettel offers a "big, big thank you" to his former Red Bull team, saying that his six years with the outfit were "incredible".

Sebastian Vettel has insisted that Red Bull will always have a fond place in his heart as he bade farewell to the Formula 1 team.

The 27-year-old, who won 39 races and four Drivers' World Championships during his six years with the outfit, will represent Ferrari from next season.

"The last six years have been incredible," Vettel told reporters. "What we've achieved, the work that's gone in. So much passion, so much dedication. It will always stay in my heart.

"Big, big thank you to everyone. In the end we had the better car because we were the better team. Thank you really doesn't really describe enough what I feel."

Vettel finished fifth in the 2014 drivers' standings.
