Sebastian Vettel: 'No point in leaving Red Bull'

Sebastian Vettel insists that he has no plans to leave Red Bull, with whom he secured a third consecutive Formula 1 title this weekend.

Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel has insisted that he has no plans to leave Red Bull.

The German won his third consecutive drivers' title by virtue of his sixth-place finish in the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday.

Ferrari are reportedly keen to sign the 25-year-old when Felipe Massa's contract expires at the end of the 2013 season, but Vettel has stressed that a change of teams is not something he is remotely considering.

"I'm very happy and extremely committed to give everything I have in the next years when I'm with them," he said.

"I'm extremely happy in the position I am in because it's incredible what we have achieved. At the moment I don't see any point thinking about another team or something else."

Vettel is the youngest of nine drivers to have won three Formula 1 titles.
