Adrian Newey: 'No guarantee of success next year'

Red Bull technical director Adrian Newey has insisted that there is no guarantee of success for the team in 2013.

The team won its third consecutive constructors' championship and drivers' championship this year, but Newey says that they will not become complacent.

"We have [finished the season strongly], but that's no guarantee of anything," said Newey. "We know what we hope to achieve over winter but we have no idea what everybody else will achieve.

"We'll turn up in Melbourne and see, that's the great thing about Formula 1, you never know."

The 2013 season begins in Australia in March.
