Sebastian Vettel hails "fantastic win" at Monza

Sebastian Vettel has described his victory in the Italian Grand Prix as a "fantastic win" for Red Bull.

The reigning world champion eased past the chequered flag at Monza on Sunday to tighten his grip at the top of the standings.

Meanwhile, Vettel's teammate Mark Webber finished in third place behind Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.

"The race was terrific for [myself and Mark Webber]," Vettel told reporters. "We had problems with the gearboxes at the end, but I was okay because I had a good cushion and it was a fantastic win."

Vettel now has a 53-point lead over Alonso with seven races left in the calendar.
