Sebastian Vettel streaks to third straight pole

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel clinches pole position at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel has clinched pole in wet conditions at the Brazilian Grand Prix, his third in a row as he chases a ninth straight victory.

The Red Bull driver finished ahead of Nico Rosberg and Fernando Alonso, as Mercedes battle Ferrari for second place in the constructors' championship.

Mark Webber came in fourth, with Lewis Hamilton completing the top five on the Interlagos grid.

The two Toro Rosso drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne did well, finishing behind the Lotus Renault of Romain Grosjean in seventh and eighth respectively.

Felipe Massa and Nico Hulkenberg will start in ninth and 10th, although it was a difficult session for McLaren, as Jenson Button and Sergio Perez - competing in his final race for the team - were knocked out in Q2.
