Daniel Ricciardo disqualified from Australian Grand Prix

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo has been disqualified from the Australian Grand Prix for exceeding the maximum allowed fuel flow.

The 24-year-old Australian had claimed his first ever podium finish by securing second place behind Mercedes's Nico Rosberg.

However, he has now been docked of his points from the race following a lengthy investigation by the stewards at Melbourne Park.

Red Bull have confirmed that they will appeal the decision.
