The International Court of Appeal has confirmed that it has rejected Red Bull's appeal against Daniel Ricciardo's disqualification from the Australian Grand Prix on March 16.
The Australian finished second during his debut race in Melbourne but was excluded after his car used more fuel than was allowed.
"The court decided to uphold the decision of the stewards to exclude Red Bull Racing's car No.3 from the results of the 2014 Australian Grand Prix," a statement on the FIA's official website read.
The disqualification means that Ricciardo remains in 10th place in the drivers' standings, with 12 points from three races.
