McLaren line up Sergio Perez as Lewis Hamilton replacement?

McLaren have reportedly targeted Sauber driver Sergio Perez as a replacement for Lewis Hamilton, who has been linked with an exit from the British-based team.

Hamilton is rumoured to be considering a move to Mercedes next year as the 27-year-old continues to discuss contract options with McLaren.

It is understood that the team are becoming increasingly frustrated with Hamilton's reluctance to agree a new deal, which has prompted them to contact Perez over moving to McLaren, according to the Daily Mail.

Hamilton won the Italian Grand Prix earlier this month.
