McLaren's Jonathan Neale is confident that the early-season problems for the car have been identified and fixed.

McLaren have insisted that they are back on course in the Formula 1 championship having identified the problems that have seen them start the 2013 season poorly.

Managing director Jonathan Neale has said that performances will improve from the Chinese Grand Prix this weekend.

"It has not been an ideal start but I believe in the team and I believe in this car," he told BBC Sport.

"We know where the problems are and I believe we're on the right track now."

McLaren currently have just four points from the opening two grands prix.
