Jenson Button: 'McLaren won't sack me'

Jenson Button denies reports that he will be sacked by McLaren at the end of the 2015 Formula 1 season.

Jenson Button has denied claims that McLaren are already considering replacing him at the end of the season, but is unsure of his future at the team.

McLaren has struggled during this season's Formula 1 World Championship, with Button and Fernando Alonso finishing 19th and 20th respectively at last weekend's Canadian Grand Prix.

"Not true," he told reporters, when asked if McLaren were already considering replacing him.

When asked whether he will stay at McLaren beyond the 2015 season, he said: "I don't know. I have not even thought about it. And the team have not even thought about it either."

Button won the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship as a driver for Brawn GP.
