Lewis Hamilton admits that it is unlikely he will beat Sebastian Vettel to pole position in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he has little chance of qualifying in pole position for this weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver was behind Sebastian Vettel in the second practice session on Friday but doubts that he will be able to beat the German in qualifying on Saturday.

When asked if he could claim pole position, Hamilton said: "Honestly, no. But I'm going to give it my all.

"The last four races have been won by a certain guy. But if we get ahead it will be a huge bonus."

Hamilton will join Mercedes at the end of the current season.
