Stefano Domenicali: 'Fernando Alonso could easily partner Sebastian Vettel'

Stefano Domenicali believes that the pairing of Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel could work within one team.

Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali has hinted that Sebastian Vettel could move to the Italian team and that the German could 'easily coexist' with Fernando Alonso.

The reigning World Champion has been linked with a move away from Red Bull repeatedly this season and Domenicali believes that the pairing of Alonso and Vettel could work for Ferrari.

Domenicali said: "I think they are both intelligent guys and they could easily co-exist together.

"In life one should never say never!"

Vettel is currently third in the driver standings, one position behind Alonso.
