Coulson signs York extension

York City striker Michael Coulson has signed a new two-year contract with the League Two club.

The 26-year-old scored seven goals in 36 games last season as the Minstermen were knocked out in the playoff semi-finals.

"I think my hard work over the season has paid off, and all I wanted to do is stay at York," he told the club's official website.

Coulson joined York from Grimsby Town in 2012.
