York City manager Nigel Worthington has called on his players to 'put on a show' in an attempt to overturn their first-leg deficit against Fleetwood Town.
The Minstermen fell to a 1-0 defeat at Bootham Crescent on Monday night courtesy of Matty Blair's 50th-minute goal.
"You've got to step into that arena and go and play, we were a few light and made it hard work for ourselves and the players have got to learn from that," Worthington told Sky Sports News following the game.
"There's a show to put on, go and join in with it, step forward and have a go. You're better having a go and maybe losing the game than safety first."
The return leg takes place on Friday night.
