Roderick Miranda 'on verge of leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers'

Wolverhampton Wanderers will allow Roderick Miranda to return to Portugal following interest from Braga, according to a report.

The 26-year-old arrived at Molineux from Rio Ave in the summer as part of an influx of foreign arrivals, penning a four-year deal with the Championship side.

Miranda has been angling for a move away from the West Midlands due to a lack of playing time, however, and Sport Witness suggests that Braga will offer him a route back to his Portuguese homeland.

Agent Jorge Mendes, with high-profile ties to Wolves, is said to be helping the transfer along and is hopeful of an agreement being in place before the end of the month.

Braga are after a new centre-back after losing Ricardo Ferreira to a long-term injury, likely ruling him out for the rest of the campaign.
