Jackett delighted with Dicko commitment

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has said that he is hopeful striker Nouha Dicko penning a new contract at Molineux shows that the club are keen to keep their best players during the summer.

Dicko, Richard Stearman and Kevin McDonald have been linked with moves away from the Championship outfit, but Jackett believes that Dicko signing a three-year deal is a positive start to his plans for the next campaign.

The 53-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm really pleased. It's been a really productive summer in terms of talking to Nouha about his future.

"Him being able to commit his future to us is very good from his point of view and from the club's. Going into a new season with a centre-forward signing a new contract shows good commitment."

Dicko has scored 28 goals in 59 appearances since he joined Wolves on a permanent basis in January 2014.
