Felix Magath criticises Diego

Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath has slammed Deigo for his lack of effort in his first training session back at the club.

The Brazilian seemed likely to join Atletico Madrid permanently this summer following a successful season-long loan at the Vicente Calderon, where he won the Europa League.

However, the Spanish side are yet to make a bid, leaving the 27-year-old back at the Bundesliga side for the start of pre-season.

It appears that Magath is not a fan of the playmaker's attitude towards training.

According to Bild, Magath spoke to reporters watching Diego train and asked: "Did you see him willing to work? Because I did not."

Diego joined Wolfsburg from Juventus in 2010.
