Preview: Wolfsburg vs. Everton

Sports Mole looks ahead to Thursday's crucial Europa League clash between Wolfsburg and Everton in Germany.

Everton will book their place in the last 32 of the Europa League on Thursday with a victory at Group H rivals Wolfsburg.

Roberto Martinez's side have a one-point lead at the top of the standings thanks to two wins and two draws from their opening four games of the competition.

The Toffees are currently on a strong run of form both domestically and in Europe, going unbeaten in their last six matches.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg also know that a victory on Thursday will put them through to the knockout stage with a round of fixtures to spare.

The Germans, who have won five of their last six games in all competitions, were hammered 4-1 in the corresponding match at Goodison Park two months ago.

Everton are still without Leighton Baines and Gareth Barry, while Steven Naismith and Darron Gibson could also miss the encounter. Ricardo Rodriguez, Josuha Guilavogui and Vieirinha are among a handful of players who are doubtful for the hosts.

Possible starting lineup: Benaglio; Trasch, Naldo, Knoche, Schafer; Luiz Gustavo, Malanda Adje; Hunt, De Bruyne, Perisic; Dost

Everton:

Possible starting lineup: Howard; Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Coleman; McCarthy, Osman; Mirallas, Besic, Barkley; Lukaku

Sports Mole says: 1-2
