Queens Park Rangers 'agree fee for Wigan Athletic's James Perch'

Wigan Athletic defender James Perch is reportedly on the verge of joining Queens Park Rangers.

The 29-year-old is close to signing for the Championship outfit after the clubs came to an agreement on a transfer fee, according to Sky Sports News.

Perch, who has missed just nine league games in his two seasons with Wigan, has been linked with a move away from the DW Stadium following the club's relegation to League One.

QPR are believed to have had at least two bids for Perch rejected before a fee was agreed.
