Preview: Wigan Athletic vs. Newcastle United

There's plenty to play for at both the top and bottom of the Premier League table on Saturday when Wigan Athletic host Newcastle United at the DW Stadium.

While fourth-placed Newcastle will be looking to take a step closer towards Champions League football, Wigan can edge further away from the relegation zone with a win against the high-flying Magpies.

Roberto Martinez is expected to have Franco Di Santo fit for the clash after the striker picked up a calf injury in last weekend's defeat at Fulham.

However, Hugo Rodallega remains a doubt with the ankle problem that he sustained in March.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is thought to have no new injury concerns ahead of the match, with in-form striker Papiss Cisse almost guaranteed to start in attack with fellow Senegal international Demba Ba.
