West Ham United to move for free agent Gareth Barry?

West Ham United are reportedly keen on clinching the signature of midfielder Gareth Barry on a free contract this summer.

The 33-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Everton, is searching for a new club after being released by Manchester City.

According to The Express, the Hammers are preparing to offer Barry regular football in the first team and a two-year deal worth around £65,000 per week.

Arsenal are also reportedly interested in the midfielder, as are Everton following his impressive stint at Goodison Park.
