West Ham United have reportedly submitted a bid for Monaco midfielder Soungoutou Magassa.
The Hammers are keen to strengthen their midfield options with Edson Alvarez set to head out to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, West Ham are pursuing a deal to sign Magassa from Ligue 1 side Monaco.
The update claims that the Hammers have submitted a bid worth an initial €17m (£14.7m), plus a further €3m (£2.6m) in add-ons.
West Ham are believed to be 'advancing' in negotiations to sign a player who is under contract with Monaco until June 2029.
The Frenchman has featured in 57 competitive matches since emerging from the Monaco youth system, although he missed the recent league opener against Le Havre through suspension.

Ipswich confirm McAteer signing
Ipswich Town have completed the signing of attacker Kasey McAteer from fellow Championship side Leicester City.
As per BBC Sport, the Tractor Boys negotiated a transfer with Leicester worth around £12m.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year contract to keep him at Portman Road until the summer of 2029.
“I’m delighted to be here and can’t wait to get started,” McAteer told the club’s official website. “It’s a very attractive project which is being built here, and I want to add myself to that.
"I’ve been to Ipswich as an away player and I know how good the support is. As soon as I heard Ipswich were interested, it was the only move I wanted to make.
"The aim is to get promoted again, and that’s what we will push for every day. I want to be a part of that, and I aspire to be the best version of myself, which is something I will be looking to bring to the squad.
“I’m excited to get to work with the boys and the staff, and I can’t wait to meet the fans.”
McAteer, who rose through the youth ranks at Leicester, made 56 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes, but was a substitute for the opening two league games of the new season.
The attacker will wear the number 20 shirt for Ipswich and could make his debut in Saturday’s away clash with Preston North End.

Southampton sign Brentford defender
Staying in the Championship, Southampton have announced the signing of defender Mads Roerslev from Brentford.
Roerslev spent the second half of the season on loan at Wolfsburg, who decided against taking up their buy option for the full-back
The Dane returned to the Gtech Community Stadium at the end of last season, but he has now been allowed to leave after being deemed surplus to requirements.
Southampton have confirmed that they have signed Roerslev for an undisclosed fee, with the 26-year-old penning a four-year deal with the recently-relegated club.
“I’m a happy guy, very excited to get started. I had some very, very good talks with the coach and I’m coming here to play," Roerslev told Southampton's official website.
“I see Southampton as a really good team who controls a lot of games, works hard and suits my way of playing. It was just an overall positive feeling about everything.”
Roerslev has left Brentford after making 146 appearances across all competitions.
The defender will now look to help Southampton in their bid to secure an immediate return to the Premier League this season.
Roerslev is likely to go into the squad for Saturday’s Championship meeting with Stoke City at St Mary’s.
