West Ham United defender Winston Reid reveals that he wants to sign a new contract at Upton Park.

West Ham United defender Winston Reid has revealed that he is hoping to extend his stay at Upton Park.

The 24-year-old has impressed for the Hammers in their first season back in the Premier League and the New Zealand international has admitted that he is enjoying playing for the club.

Reid told the Daily Star: "We are talking. There's an option in there for both parties to take another two years at the end of the season.

"I've always wanted to stay here. I enjoy being here."

Reid joined West Ham from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2010.
