Eder turns down West Ham United

Academica de Coimbra striker Eder has turned down an opportunity to join West Ham United.

The 24-year-old held a meeting with officials from West Ham over the weekend but was unhappy with the discussions.

"We had a meeting at the hotel, but I did not like the way things were handled and I thought it was not the best for my career. I decided to leave," the centre-forward told Radio Renascenca.

Eder joined his Portuguese employers in 2008.
