Diafra Sakho expecting West Ham United success

Diafra Sakho is confident that West Ham will enjoy a successful campaign following their 3-1 win over Liverpool.

West Ham United forward Diafra Sakho has predicted that the team will enjoy a successful season following their win over Liverpool.

The Hammers moved into the top half of the Premier League table on Saturday with an impressive 3-1 victory against the Merseysiders at Upton Park.

Sakho, who joined the club from Metz in the summer, now hopes that he and his West Ham teammates can "do good things" for the remainder of the campaign.

He told the club's official website: "We deserved [to beat Liverpool]. On the whole, we lived up to manager's expectations and those of the staff, and if we continue to play like that, work together, united as a group, we'll do good things in the Premier League."

Sakho has scored three goals in his first four games for West Ham this season.
