Slaven Bilic: 'I am expecting Dimitri Payet to start against Watford'

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic reveals that he hopes to be able to start playmaker Dimitri Payet against Watford in the Premier League this weekend.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that he hopes to start Dimitri Payet against Watford in the Premier League this weekend.

Payet has only featured in 24 minutes of English football this season after competing at the Euros, but Bilic has suggested that he could make his return against Walter Mazzarri's charges having featured for France during the international period.

"I have just seen Dimitri Payet and he has not played for us since the Chelsea game," Bilic said at a pre-match news conference.

"I am expecting him to be fit and ready to start the game. We have missed him. It is the same for every club. France missed him.

"When he came on he gave them something different with his quality and set pieces."

The Hammers currently hold 12th spot in the Premier League table after three games.
