Report: West Bromwich Albion to offer Saido Berahino new contract

West Bromwich Albion will reportedly offer striker Saido Berahino a new contract.

West Bromwich Albion will offer Saido Berahino a new contract, according to reports.

Berahino tweeted that he will never play for the club again after a bid from Tottenham Hotspur was rejected on deadline day.

The striker will be fined two weeks wages when he returns to training after the international break but the Sunday People claims that West Brom will hold contract negotiations with him and hope that he will return to first-team action.

It is believed that the proposed contract will include a £25m buy-out clause.
