Liam Ridgewell has completed his transfer from Birmingham City to West Bromwich Albion.
The Baggies have paid Birmingham a fee of around £2.5m for the 27-year-old's services.
The 6ft 2in defender has been handed the number six shirt but is not eligible to play in tomorrow's Premier League trip to Fulham.
Instead, his debut is likely to come during Saturday's home fixture with Swansea City.
