Report: No January fund for West Bromwich Albion's Steve Clarke

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke will not receive funds to spend in January, according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke will reportedly not receive any funds to sign players during the January transfer window.

According to The Sun, the 50-year-old has been told by the Baggies board that he will have to continue the remainder of the season with his current squad.

Clarke signed Stephane Sessegnon and Victor Anichebe in the summer, but that has not prevented his side from falling just two points above the relegation zone after 15 rounds of matches in the Premier League.

West Brom finished eighth in the league last season.
