Tony Pulis considering French additions

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis admits that he may be looking at the French market for new signings.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has conceded that he may look to Ligue 1 to bolster his squad this summer.

Along with his assistant Dave Kemp, Pulis watched Marseille take on Monaco last weekend - a game that ended in a 2-1 win for the home side.

"We went to Marseille and Monaco because both clubs have got players that might be available and obviously you are going to be placed in a position where because you were at games people think you are going to be after certain players," the Birmingham Mail quotes Pulis as saying.

Of the players that were on show at the Stade Velodrome, Marseille duo Andre-Pierre Gignac, who has scored 20 goals this season, and Andre Ayew will both be out of contract this summer.

Monaco striker Dimitar Berbatov is also expected to be on the move.
