West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long has insisted that the club does not need to buy any new players during the January transfer window.
The Baggies are currently in 14th place in the Premier League table heading into the second half of the season.
Despite being only four points above the relegation zone, Long is confident that there are enough players at The Hawthorns to guide the team up the standings.
"We don't need freshening up," he told the Birmingham Mail. "We have near enough 25 players. We have six or seven options up front. We're covered everywhere.
"I think we're good enough to get into that top half of the table - hopefully get some points over the next games and get back up there.
"We're optimistic of staying up. We're definitely good enough. We have a big squad, with lots of competition for places."
West Brom continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Southampton.
