Saido Berahino admits he's open to leaving West Brom for Champions League

Saido Berahino admits that he is open to leaving West Bromwich Albion to play Champions League football.

Saido Berahino has admitted that he may need to leave West Bromwich Albion in order to fulfil his ambition of playing Champions League football.

The 21-year-old, who received his first senior call-up to the England squad this week, has reportedly attracted fellow Premier League clubs due to his form.

The forward has netted seven goals in 10 league games for the Baggies so far and has made it clear that he wants to play at an elite European level.

"My ambition is to play in the Champions League, to be involved in England's seniors and go and play in big tournaments like World Cups and Euros," Berahino told reporters. "I work hard, have a big vision and hopefully I can reach my goals.

"If [leaving West Brom] is what it comes to, then yes, I'll have to do that. Obviously, I appreciate what West Brom have done for me. I'm working hard each day to try to bring the club up and win as many games as a I can. I just stay focused.''

Berahino, who has come through the youth ranks at West Brom, signed a deal running until 2017 last year.
