Zola interviewed by West Brom?

Former Watford manager Gianfranco Zola has reportedly been interviewed by West Bromwich Albion regarding the possibility of becoming the club's new head coach.

The 47-year-old has been out of work since resigning from his post at Vicarage Road in December.

The Baggies have been hunting for a permanent successor to Steve Clarke since November, and it appears that Zola has spoken to the club about possibly moving to The Hawthorns, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Former Werder Bremen manager Thomas Schaaf and ex-Valencia boss Quique Flores are also said to be contenders for the role.
