West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis: 'Watford are underrated'

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis says that Saturday's opponents Watford have "gone under the radar" over the past few months.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has praised Watford for their performances and transfer business since the arrival of Marco Silva.

Last season, Watford only finished in 17th position in the Premier League table but under Silva, the Hornets currently sit in sixth spot after the Portuguese was allowed to make eight first-team additions in the summer.

It leaves Watford level on points with fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, and Pulis has acknowledged that he is expecting a tough test at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

The 59-year-old told reporters: "Watford have spent some money and they look a very capable team. It'll be a tough game for us.

"Watford have gone under the radar with the quality of players that they've brought in."

West Brom will move above Watford in the table if they can emerge victorious in the West Midlands.
