Tony Pulis 'to be offered new contract'

West Bromwich Albion will reportedly offer manager Tony Pulis a new contract this summer.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly planning to offer manager Tony Pulis a new contract this summer after he secured the club's Premier League survival for a second time.

The former Stoke City and Crystal Palace boss moved to The Hawthorns in January 2015, taking the team from 17th to a 13th-place finish, and has this season guided the club to the 40-point mark with seven games left to play.

According to The Telegraph, West Brom are now planning to offer Pulis an extension to his current £2m-a-year deal, which expires at the end of next season.

The club are also thought to have sanctioned a summer overhaul of the squad following fan criticism of the side's 'unexciting' style of play.

West Brom, who are now aiming to better their Premier League record of 49 points, travel to Manchester City this weekend in Saturday's late kickoff.
