Tony Pulis: 'Criticism part and parcel of being a manager'

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis says that he has no issue with the criticism that he has received in recent weeks.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has said that he will deal with speculation over his position at The Hawthorns in the 'way he thinks is right'.

Bookmakers have made Pulis favourite to become the first Premier League manager to leave his job this season after reports of disagreements with the club's hierarchy over transfers and a poor performance away at Bournemouth last weekend.

Pulis has also been linked with the managerial role at Queens Park Rangers after attending their game with Newcastle United on Tuesday night, but the Welshman insists that he has no issues with either the criticism or speculation that he has been associated with in recent weeks.

The 58-year-old told reporters: "There is speculation all the time but you have to get on with it and wash it away. There are lots of ups and downs and I will deal with it the way I think is right.

"You have to take criticism. The fans have a right to voice opinions, it's their club. They've a right to say what they think."

The Baggies play host to West Ham United on Saturday.
