West Bromwich Albion star James Morrison has expressed his belief that Callum McManaman will prove to be an "exciting" talent among the team.
The 24-year-old has been unable to stake a claim in the first team since his move to The Hawthorns from Wigan Athletic in January due to a foot injury.
However, the winger impressed on Saturday with a cameo appearance in the Baggies' goalless draw with Liverpool on home turf.
"Callum is an exciting player and he is learning every week," Morrison told the club's official website. "Once we get his fitness up he will be even better.
"He is eager to impress because he has been hampered with injury since he came in and I am sure he will be looking forward to having a few games now and then will look forward to next season. He wants to play."
West Brom are 13th in the Premier League table, seven points above relegation.
