Steve Clarke "hopeful" Steven Reid will return

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke believes that Steven Reid will be fit to face Fulham this weekend.

However, Clarke has confirmed that Jerome Thomas, who has missed the start of the season with a hip problem, will not be available.

"We are hopeful over Steven but Jerome won't be fit again this weekend. He's been in and out, picked up lots of little niggles and it's unfortunate for him. He's been working hard to get back as quickly as possible," Clarke told Sky Sports News.

The Baggies currently sit third in the Premier League table.
