Chris Brunt pens new three-year-deal at West Brom

Brunt signs new deal at West Brom

West Brom captain Chris Brunt has committed his future to West Brom with a new three-year contract.

The 26-year-old, who moved to the Baggies in 2007, is the second player to extend his stay at The Hawthorns. Midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu also put pen to paper on a new contract.

Brunt, who took over the captain’s armband from Scott Carson in January, has the option of a one-year extension when the contract runs out.

The Northern Ireland international has scored 30 goals from midfield and clocked up 157 appearances for the club.
