Watford 'offer Zat Knight trial ahead of possible permanent move'

Knight 'on trial with Watford'

Former Fulham and Bolton Wanderers defender Zat Knight has reportedly been handed a trial at Watford.

The 34-year-old, who has also played for Aston Villa in his career, has been searching for a new club after coming to the end of his contract with MLS side Colorado Rapids last year.

According to talkSPORT, Knight is hopeful that Watford manager Slavisa Jokanovic will offer him a permanent contract at the Championship club.

The Hornets are currently sixth in the league table.
