Marco Silva threatening to sue Watford?

Marco Silva is threatening former club Watford with legal action after a delay in receiving his compensation package, according to a report.

Nearly three weeks after being sacked by the Hornets, bringing an end to his eight-month spell at Vicarage Road, the 40-year-old has yet to shake hands on a financial settlement.

The Times claims that Silva is holding out for around £750,000 due to the early cancellation of his contract, which is the equivalent of six months' wages, plus an additional compensation fee.

Watford are said to be unhappy with the Portuguese's demands as they feel he breached his contract when flirting with the Everton job earlier in the season.

Silva has also managed Hull City in the Premier League and was recently linked with the Southampton job.
