The former England international is in charge of the Cherries while the club search for a replacement for Jason Tindall and has two victories from two games.

Woodgate has halted Bournemouth's slump and will be hopeful of another win to aid his chances of getting the job on a long-term basis. However, Forest have proven hard to beat in recent weeks, and they are still in need of points to pull clear of relegation danger.

Norwich City head into Saturday's Championship fixture with Stoke City having been knocked off the top of the standings by in-form Brentford.

While the Canaries have been relegated to second spot after three games without a win, ninth-placed Stoke have not recorded a victory since the turn of the year.

Stoke have reached a point where a draw away at the second-placed team in the division would not be perceived to be a positive result. With that in mind, we feel that the Canaries will produce enough quality in the final third to overcome their out-of-sorts opponents.

These two teams have struggled in recent weeks, and it could be a close and nervous game as both are low on confidence; we are backing Watford to earn a narrow victory, though, due to their excellent home record and the quality they can show if they click into gear.

Cardiff City will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start under Mick McCarthy when they host Coventry City on Saturday afternoon.

The Bluebirds have followed up back-to-back draws with successive wins in their four games under the experienced coach to move up to 11th.

Coventry are winless in three Championship outings, meanwhile, and enter this clash at the Cardiff City Stadium in 19th place.

Cardiff finally have a bit of momentum on their side thanks to a four-game unbeaten streak since McCarthy came in, the last two of those ending in victory.

Coventry held Watford last time out and beat Cardiff in the reverse meeting, but we are backing the hosts to come out on top in this encounter.

Derby County head into Saturday's Championship encounter with Middlesbrough sitting in the relegation zone, despite picking up three wins from four matches.

Middlesbrough are without a victory during the same period, a run of results which has left the North-East outfit five points adrift of the playoffs.

Despite the difference in league positions, Derby will regard themselves as the favourites to win this contest. Nevertheless, we expect Boro to lift their game for this fixture, their new arrivals potentially having a greater impact in the final third.

Championship promotion hopefuls Reading will be keen to return to winning ways when they host Millwall on Saturday afternoon.

The Royals were beaten 3-1 by Brentford on Wednesday night, falling to fifth in the process, while the Lions are firmly in midtable.

Reading did not play badly against Brentford so should not be too disheartened by the defeat; they will certainly be favourites against Millwall but will by no means dominate the Lions, who are hard to break down.
