Joe Ledley withdraws from Wales squad

Joe Ledley has been forced to pull out of the Wales squad for Wednesday's friendly with Iceland because of a hip injury.

The 27-year-old suffered the problem on Sunday while playing for Crystal Palace against Swansea City in the Premier League.

However, he was able to play the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

The midfielder will now return to Selhurst Park to start his recovery.

Ledley, who made his international debut in 2005, won his 50th senior cap for Wales at the end of last year.
