Premier League quartet named in 30-man USA squad

Jurgen Klinsmann selects four Premier League players in his initial 30-man United States squad for this summer's World Cup.

United States manager Jurgen Klinsmann has named four Premier League players in his provisional 30-man squad for this summer's World Cup.

Goalkeepers Brad Guzan and Tim Howard, who have featured regularly for Aston Villa and Everton respectively this season, have both been included, while Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron has also been given the nod.

Jozy Altidore of Sunderland has been selected among the United States' strikers, along with former Tottenham Hotspur player Clint Dempsey.

There is no room in the squad for Eddie Johnson, however, who has been omitted by Klinsmann.

USA are in Group G along with Ghana, Portugal and Germany.
