Izuakor, who starred for El Kameni during the last campaign as they finished fourth in the league, has signed for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has also featured for Enugu Rangers and Shooting Stars during his short career.
Izuakor joins Ibrahim Pius and Emmanuel Fabiyi in signing for Taraba, who earned promotion to the Nigerian Premier League last season.
