Toulouse defender Jonathan Zebina has admitted that he may be forced to leave Ligue 1 in search of regular playing time, with Major League Soccer his preferred destination.
The former Juventus and Roma centre-back has made just one substitute appearance for Toulouse so far this season after joining the club on a free transfer in 2012.
Zebina conceded that aged 35 he can scarcely afford to spend more time on the sidelines, revealing that he will look to leave in January if the situation does not change.
He told beIN Sport: "You have to remain positive, but things start to become complicated.
"I will try to change the situation, but if nothing changes before the winter break then I will try to find a different solution.
"A favoured destination? USA would be perfect. It is a country that has always attracted me and one where football is developing."
The 35-year-old returned to France last year after spending more than a decade in Serie A, which included spells with Juventus, Roma, Cagliari and Brescia.
