Torquay United have completed the month-long loan signing of defender Anthony O'Connor from Blackburn Rovers.
The 20-year-old joins the Gulls as defensive cover following Aaron Downes's recent knee injury and could feature in Saturday's match against York City.
O'Connor, a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, came through the youth system at Rovers.
He spent the whole of last season on loan at Burton Albion, making 53 appearances for the Brewers.
