League Two roundup: Bristol Rovers continue to struggle

Bristol Rovers missed a chance to move away from the relegation zone of League Two this afternoon as they lost 2-0 at Wycombe.

Goals from Joel Grant and Gareth Ainsworth gave Wanderers the win and things got worse for Rovers as midfielder Matthew Lund was sent off in injury time.

York City survived a second-half fightback from playoff hopefuls Rochdale to record a fine 3-2 away win. A brace from 21-year-old Michael Potts helped put the Minstermen three goals ahead at half time and City held on despite a nervy finish.

In the only other league game on a weekend of FA Cup action, Torquay United defeated Dagenham & Redbridge 2-1 at Plainmoor. An Abu Ogogo own goal 10 minutes from time sealed a home victory for the Gulls.
