Bury's match at wet Torquay United called off

This afternoon's League Two clash between Torquay United and Bury has been postponed.

After three inspections had taken place at Plainmoor - one on Friday and two earlier today - the waterlogged pitch was deemed unplayable.

Torquay have insisted that every effort was made to get the game to go ahead.

Our pitch was inspected by a referee yesterday.Another inspection today at 9am & midday. Ground staff work tirelessly to get the game ahead.
